Professional career
| 1991-1997 | Researcher | Danish Meteorological Institute, Denmark | Worked in the Research Department. The worked was mainly focussed on improving the storm surge warning system. Worked on implementing the stationary Kalman filter for a 2D storm surge model. Participated in misc. national and international projects. |
| 1997-1998 | Researcher | Danish Hydraulic Institute, Horsholm, Denmark | Worked on parallising DHI developed numerical models. Worked on the Sound bridge. |
| 1998-2002 | Researcher | Space Applications Institute, Joint Research Centre of the European Communities, Ispra, Italy | Worked on the PROVESS (MAS3-CT97-0159) and KEYCOP (MAS3-CT97-0148) EU funded projects. In both projects I participated in making in-situ observations of turbulence properties and modelling the observed features. Initializing General Ocean Turbulence Model (GOTM). |
